A plastic extrusion machine leans on ring-blower air at several points. A blower pulls the vacuum that lifts granules and regrind into the machine's hopper loader; blower air cools the profile, sheet or pipe as it leaves the die and feeds air-ring and blow-off duties; and on pipe and profile lines a blower supports the conveying and de-dusting around the calibration and haul-off. These are moderate-pressure or moderate-vacuum, continuous, oil-free duties — clean air that never contaminates the polymer. A single-stage ring blower covers loading and lighter cooling; a two-stage blower steps up for longer conveying or higher head, and a CX centrifugal handles the high-volume cooling zones.

Treat each duty separately: loading vacuum on line length and lift, cooling air on the heat to remove and the line speed, and any de-dusting on capture velocity. Right-sizing each beats one oversized blower trying to do all three.
