02The certificate, and what's behind it
Yash Blowers is an ISO 9001:2015 certified company. ISO 9001 is the international standard for a quality management system: it means our processes for design, procurement, production, inspection and dispatch are documented, followed and audited — not improvised. For a buyer, the certificate is a shorthand for repeatability. The 500th unit of a model performs like the first, because the same controlled steps produced both.
That matters most to the customers who cannot walk our shop floor: the OEM machine-builder specifying our blower into a production line, and the export buyer opening a container halfway around the world. The QMS is what lets them trust the datasheet. Test certificates and the current ISO certificate are available on request with any order.
03Quality process — material to dispatch
Every machine passes through the same six controlled stages. A unit does not move to the next stage until it clears the one before it.
- 01Incoming materialAluminium ingot, motors, bearings and seals are inspected on receipt. Bought-out components are checked against spec before anything enters work-in-progress.
- 02Machining tolerancesImpeller bore, shaft fit and the impeller-to-side-channel clearance are machined and verified against the drawing. That clearance is what sets the pressure and vacuum a regenerative blower can actually hold.
- 03Dynamic impeller balancingEvery impeller is dynamically balanced before assembly. Balancing removes the residual unbalance that would otherwise transmit vibration into the bearings and shorten life on a 24/7 duty.
- 04AssemblyBalanced impeller, casing, motor and seals are assembled to a controlled sequence, with fastener torque and running clearance checked as the unit is built.
- 05Run testEach finished machine is run and measured — pressure, vacuum, current draw, sound and vibration are confirmed against its datasheet.
- 06DispatchCleared units are tagged, packed for their destination (domestic or seaworthy export crate) and dispatched — on average 300+ a day.
04What we test on the bench
Pressure & vacuum
Delivery pressure and suction vacuum are read against the rated curve, so the mbar on the label is the mbar you get.
Current & power
Motor current draw is checked to confirm the unit is running within its electrical rating and not overloaded at the duty point.
Noise
Sound level is measured — our datasheets publish dB figures, and the run test confirms the machine is inside them.
Vibration
Post-balancing vibration is verified on the assembled unit, the real proof that the balancing held through assembly.
Because impellers are cast, machined and dynamically balanced under our own roof, the run test is a confirmation step, not a fishing expedition — the machine is built to hit the numbers, and the bench proves it before the unit is crated.
05Warranty & support
We stand behind the machine
Yash Blowers warrants its blowers and vacuum pumps against defects in materials and workmanship under normal, rated operating conditions. If a unit fails inside the warranty period because of a manufacturing or material defect, we repair or replace the affected part. The warranty assumes the machine is applied within its rated duty point, supplied clean air at the correct voltage and frequency, protected by the specified inlet filter and, where relevant, a pressure-relief valve, and serviced as recommended.
Wear parts — filter elements, seals — and damage from running the machine outside its rating, ingesting liquid or debris, or incorrect electrical supply are not covered, as with any positive-air-machine warranty. Because impellers, housings and spares are made in-house, replacement parts are available quickly and are dispatched by air freight for export customers when a line is down.
