Pressure carries the powder
Pneumatic conveying of raw meal and cement over pipeline distance builds resistance that only high static pressure can push through — dense powder chokes a low-pressure line. Sizing starts from the conveying rate, the distance and the material's density, and works to the blower pressure that keeps it moving with margin. High-pressure centrifugal and turbine machines supply that pressure; specifying the real pipeline resistance, not a nominal figure, is what keeps conveying from stalling mid-run.
