Ring Blower for Fish Pond

Fish Pond duty, sized right: diffused-air pond aeration for stable dissolved oxygen. Real Yash models, oil-free where it matters, ISO 9001:2015 and built in Faridabad since 1998.

DTYKeeping dissolved oxygen up in a pond

Fish live or die by dissolved oxygen, and a pond's oxygen crashes overnight and after feeding when respiration peaks. A ring blower feeding a grid of bottom diffusers holds that oxygen steady by pushing fine bubbles up through the water column, aerating gently and evenly without the churn a surface aerator creates. Ponds are usually shallow, so the pressure is modest — set by the metre or two of water over the diffusers — and the airflow follows the stocking density and pond area. Because the blower runs continuously through the monsoon and the night, oil-free, low-pulsation air and one moving part matter. Deeper ponds or long diffuser lines move up to a two-stage blower.

Yash ring blowers aerate fish and shrimp ponds with stable, oil-free, low-pulsation air that runs through the monsoon and the night without fuss — sized to pond depth, area and stocking density. Single-stage and double-stage options, ISO 9001:2015, made in Faridabad, quoted in 24 hours.

SZESizing note

Set pressure from diffuser depth (usually 1–2 m) and airflow from pond area and stocking density; spread diffusers evenly to avoid dead zones and hold oxygen where the fish are through the night's low.

Indicative only — final selection depends on your exact duty point, altitude and air temperature. Send the numbers and an engineer confirms the model.

FAQRing Blower for Fish Pond — FAQs

What size blower does a fish pond need?
Set the pressure from how deep the diffusers sit — usually 1–2 m, so a modest 150–300 mbar — and the airflow from pond area and stocking density. A YEBL-1-320V or -530 aerates most small-to-mid ponds; spread the diffusers evenly and go two-stage for deeper ponds or long lines.
Is a ring blower better than a surface aerator for ponds?
A ring blower with bottom diffusers oxygenates the whole water column gently and quietly, holds dissolved oxygen steady through the night's low, and disturbs the fish less than a churning surface aerator. It runs oil-free and continuously through the monsoon with one moving part — reliable, low-maintenance pond aeration.
