02Buying & Quotes
For standard catalogue blowers and vacuum pumps there is no fixed MOQ — a single unit can be supplied, and most first orders are one or two machines for trial. Spares and impellers can be ordered singly. For customised builds or private-label runs, a minimum batch may apply; that is confirmed when we quote against your specification.
Many standard models ship from stock, and the plants dispatch 300+ units on an average day, so common sizes move quickly. Larger, double-stage or customised machines are built to order. Because stock and workload change week to week, we confirm the current lead time for your specific model and quantity at the time of quotation rather than quoting a blanket figure here.
Chiefly the frame size and power (HP/kW), the pressure or vacuum duty, single- versus double-stage, and the motor specification — voltage, frequency, IP and insulation class. Accessories add to it: silencers, filters, relief valves, non-return valves, flexible connectors and any special coating. Export pricing then depends on the Incoterm and packing you need. Send your duty point for an itemised quote.
Yash machines are run-tested and cleared against their datasheet before dispatch. The applicable warranty period and its conditions — what is covered, and what is excluded such as consumable wear parts and misuse — are stated in writing with each quotation and order confirmation, so the terms are unambiguous for your specific supply. Ask for them up front and keep them with your records.
Payment terms are agreed per order and stated on the proforma invoice. Export orders are commonly handled against an advance with balance before dispatch, or against a Letter of Credit for larger values; domestic terms may differ. We confirm the accepted method and schedule when we quote — please share your preferred instrument so we can align.
Yes. Common customisations include motor voltage and frequency for the destination country, IP-rated or special-duty motors, flanged or threaded ports to NPT or BSP, special seals and coatings for corrosive or marine service, and factory-fitted silencers and filters. Private-label and OEM builds are supported. Describe the application and constraints and an engineer will confirm what is feasible.
Motors can be supplied for standard three-phase and single-phase supplies at both 50 Hz and 60 Hz, wound for the destination voltage. Because a motor built for 60 Hz behaves differently from a 50 Hz one — more flow and pressure, more power drawn — always tell us the destination country's supply so the machine is wound and rated correctly.
Yes — spares availability was a founding reason the company exists. Impellers, bearings, seals, filter elements, relief valves and gaskets are held for the catalogue range, and impellers are produced in-house. Quote the model number stamped on your machine when ordering spares so the correct part is matched the first time.
03Export & Shipping
Yash Blowers ships to buyers across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas — machines run in the field from the Gulf to East Africa to South-East Asia. If you are unsure whether we already supply your country, ask; export documentation and destination-correct motor specification are routine, not exceptions.
We commonly quote EXW (ex works, Faridabad), FOB at an Indian port such as Nhava Sheva or Mundra, and CIF to your destination port. Other terms can be arranged with your forwarder. Each quote names one Incoterm and a place so responsibility for freight, insurance and risk is unambiguous. See our shipping & export policy for the detail.
Standard export packing is seaworthy wooden crating — machines secured, cushioned and, where needed, moisture-protected for a long ocean transit and multiple handlings. Fumigated or ISPM-15 compliant timber is used where the destination requires it. Any special marking, palletisation or container-loading instruction can be accommodated if specified on the order.
A typical export set includes the commercial invoice, packing list, and — as required by the destination and Incoterm — a Certificate of Origin, Bill of Lading or airway bill, and insurance certificate under CIF. A pre-dispatch test report can be provided on request. Tell us the documents your bank or customs broker needs so nothing is missed.
Industrial blowers, air pumps and vacuum pumps classify under HS heading 8414 (“air or vacuum pumps, air or other gas compressors and fans”), with sub-headings for the specific type. The exact sub-heading and any destination-country duty are confirmed with your customs broker; we declare the correct classification on export paperwork.
Both. Sea freight (FCL or LCL) is the norm for cost-effective movement of crated machines through Nhava Sheva or Mundra; air freight suits urgent spares or single lightweight units. We quote FOB or CIF for sea, and can support air where speed justifies the cost. Your forwarder can also collect ex works under EXW.
Side channel blowers are close-coupled and straightforward to install — mount, connect the correct-rotation supply, fit the inlet filter and relief valve, and pipe up. We supply installation and operating guidance with the machine and provide remote support by WhatsApp, email and call. On-site commissioning is generally handled by your local contractor to our instructions.
Remote technical support for selection, installation and troubleshooting is available by WhatsApp, email and phone, direct to engineers who know the product. Spare parts are stocked for the catalogue range and shipped against your model number. Keep your machine's model and, where relevant, its test report for the fastest, most accurate support.
04Technical Selection
A regenerative (side channel) blower can be used for either pressure or vacuum — but not both at once, and the rated pressure differs from the rated vacuum. The inlet becomes the working port in vacuum service. Decide the mode and the duty point first; we then confirm the model rated for that flow at that pressure or vacuum.
Start from the duty point: the airflow you need (m³/hr or CFM) and the pressure or vacuum it must overcome (mbar). For aeration, that begins with oxygen demand and diffuser depth; for conveying, with material rate and line vacuum. Send those figures — plus supply voltage and frequency — and an engineer selects the model with the right margin.
Single stage covers most aeration, conveying and vacuum-hold duties at the family's base pressure. Choose double stage when you need materially higher pressure or deeper vacuum at the same airflow — two impellers in series roughly double the pressure a single stage delivers. If unsure, give us the duty point and we advise the economical choice.
Side channel blowers emit a characteristic high-frequency whine; the level in dB(A) rises with size and is quoted at a stated distance. Inlet and discharge silencers cut it by roughly 5–15 dB(A), and an acoustic enclosure more. Specify a noise target for the installation and we fit the right silencing rather than over- or under-doing it.
Yes, with an inverter-duty motor a variable frequency drive lets you turn the blower down to match demand instead of throttling — a real energy saving on aeration at part load. Mind the minimum speed needed for motor cooling and the machine's stable operating range. Tell us you intend VFD control so the motor is specified accordingly.
Most side channel blowers are designed to run with the shaft horizontal and the standard feet down; some frames allow vertical mounting. Orientation affects drainage of any condensate and motor cooling, so it is not a free choice on every model. Confirm your intended mounting when ordering and we verify it suits the selected machine.
Catalogue performance assumes standard ambient; side channel blowers are typically rated for intake and ambient up to about 40 °C. Above that, air density and motor cooling fall and continuous output must be derated. Hot process gas or a hot plant room needs a margin — tell us the real ambient and inlet temperature so the selection holds.
Yes — regenerative blowers are built for continuous (S1) duty and are widely used in round-the-clock aeration and process service; every impeller is dynamically balanced for exactly this. Confirm the specific model's duty rating for your application, provide adequate ventilation, fit a relief valve, and, where air is critical, consider a duty/standby pair.
05Maintenance
Regenerative blowers have one moving assembly and little routine maintenance. The recurring tasks are checking and cleaning or replacing the inlet filter element, listening for bearing noise, and confirming the relief valve is free. Exact intervals depend on how dusty and how hard the duty is; the operating instructions supplied with the machine give the schedule for your model.
Inspect the intake filter regularly and clean or replace the element whenever it is visibly loaded or the machine shows reduced flow or higher current — a clogged filter is the single most common cause of poor performance. In dusty environments that is more frequent. Keep spare elements on hand and quote the model number when reordering.
Bearing life is the practical limit on service life and depends heavily on duty: clean air, correct rotation, no dead-heading and good cooling all extend it, while imbalance, over-temperature and contamination shorten it. Sealed bearings are greased for life on many models. Rising noise or vibration is the signal to plan a bearing change before failure.
In clean-air service the impeller sees little wear because it never contacts the housing. Wear comes from ingested dust or debris, or from imbalance and dead-heading. That is precisely why the inlet filter and relief valve matter. Impellers are produced in-house and stocked as spares, matched to your machine's model number if replacement is ever needed.
Oil-sealed rotary-vane pumps use a dedicated vacuum-pump oil of the specified grade — not general lubricating oil. Change it at the interval in the pump manual, or sooner if it darkens or the ultimate vacuum falls off, since contaminated oil directly limits vacuum. Side channel blowers, by contrast, are oil-free and need no such change.
In order: is rotation correct (a reversed three-phase motor kills performance); is the inlet filter clogged; are any inlet or discharge valves throttled or blocked; is the relief valve stuck open; and is the supply voltage and frequency correct for the machine. Most field complaints trace to rotation, a blocked filter or a throttled port. Then call us with the model number.
For any critical installation, yes. A sensible kit is a spare inlet filter element, a set of bearings and seals for the model, and gaskets; for oil-sealed pumps, oil and a vane set. Holding these avoids downtime waiting on shipment, which matters most for continuous aeration. We can quote a recommended spares list against your model.
Protect the machine from direct rain and standing water with a ventilated canopy that does not restrict cooling airflow, specify a suitably IP-rated TEFC motor for wet or dusty sites, keep the inlet filter clear, and ensure any condensate can drain. Die-cast aluminium resists corrosion well, but electricals and bearings still need shelter and ventilation.
