02READING THE COMPARISON
A spec sheet in isolation tells you what a machine does. A spec sheet beside two others tells you what to buy. This tool puts up to three models on one datasheet — two side by side on a phone, three across on a desktop — and aligns their published figures row by row so the differences are impossible to miss.
Where the specs come from
Every value is verbatim from our catalogue data — the same figures that print on the physical datasheet. When two models come from different families with different specification columns, the table takes the union of their rows, so a value that exists for one model and not another simply shows a dash rather than a fabricated number. Nothing is interpolated or rounded to flatter a comparison.
What the orange edge means
The tool only ranks values where a ranking is objectively defensible. Higher airflow is better. Higher pressure is better. Lower noise is better. Lower weight is better. Deeper vacuum — a larger magnitude — is better. On those rows, and only when at least two models publish a comparable number and the numbers actually differ, the stronger value is marked with an orange left edge. Rows like power rating, dimensions or inlet size carry no ranking, because "better" there depends entirely on your installation, not on the number alone.
