DTYAir that never stops in a biofloc tank
A biofloc system depends on air that literally never stops. The blower has to hold dissolved oxygen for a dense stock and keep the flocs — the suspended microbial community that cleans the water and feeds the fish — in constant motion so they never settle and go anaerobic. Cut the air for even a short spell and the floc drops, the water sours and the crop is at risk. So the duty is continuous, generous airflow at the modest pressure a 1–2 m tank sets, with reliability as the headline requirement. An oil-free ring blower is the biofloc standard: clean air, one moving part, and unbroken running. Deeper tanks or long diffuser grids step up to a two-stage blower for the head.
Yash ring blowers give biofloc farmers the uninterrupted, oil-free aeration the system cannot live without — sized to tank depth and stocking density, built for the continuous duty biofloc demands, and backed by an in-house spares pipeline so a farm is never left without air. Double Stage Turbine Blower
Full range →Higher head for deeper tanks and long diffuser grids where a single stage runs short of pressure to keep flocs moving.

|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| YEBL-DS-150V | 3.0 HP | 150 | 88 | -330 | 440 | 66 | 27 |

SZESizing note
Size airflow for both the oxygen a dense stock needs and enough turbulence to keep flocs suspended everywhere, and pressure for the 1–2 m depth; always plan a standby blower — in biofloc, continuity is the crop.

FAQRing Blower for Biofloc Tank — FAQs
- Why is continuous air so critical in biofloc?
- The floc — the microbial community that cleans the water and feeds the stock — must stay suspended and aerobic. If the air stops even briefly the floc settles, goes anaerobic and the water sours, putting the whole crop at risk. So biofloc aeration is a continuous, non-negotiable duty, and a standby blower is essential, not optional.
- What blower suits a biofloc tank?
- An oil-free ring blower sized for both oxygen and enough turbulence to keep flocs moving everywhere in the tank, at the modest pressure a 1–2 m depth sets. A YEBL-1-320V or -530 covers many tanks; deeper tanks move to a two-stage YEBL-DS. Always plan a standby unit for continuity.
