02HOW THE MATCHING WORKS

Blower selection goes wrong in two directions. Undersize the unit and it stalls, overheats and fails early against a duty it was never going to hold. Oversize it — the more common mistake — and you pay for capacity you throttle away, running a large frame at a fraction of its curve and wasting energy every hour. This wizard is built to find the model that sits just above your requirement, meeting or exceeding it with the smallest margin.

Step 1 — Application decides the family

The physics of your process narrows the field before any number is entered. Aeration for sewage and effluent treatment, aquaculture and biofloc, air-knife drying and electroplating agitation are pressure duties served by side channel and turbine blowers. Vacuum conveying and vacuum forming are vacuum duties served by our vacuum pump families. Printing can call for either, so the wizard lets you choose. Dust collection leans on high-pressure centrifugal frames. Choosing the application restricts the search to the families that physically fit the job.

Step 2 — The duty point does the real work

Enter required airflow in m³/hr or CFM — CFM is converted at 1 CFM = 1.699 m³/hr — and the pressure or vacuum you need in millibar. The wizard then reads every candidate model's published displacement and pressure or vacuum figures, parsing ranges and non-SI units defensively, and keeps only those that meet or exceed both requirements. Models whose specs cannot be parsed cleanly are skipped rather than guessed at.

Step 3 — Constraints and ranking

A maximum noise limit, if you set one, filters out models that publish a louder figure. The supply-phase note is informational: sub-2 HP units are typically single-phase and larger frames three-phase, but the exact winding should always be confirmed. Surviving models are then ranked by total oversizing — the combined percentage by which their airflow and pressure exceed your requirement — and the three tightest fits are shown. Each card carries the model chip, key specs, the flow headroom over your duty, a link to the full spec table and a WhatsApp quote pre-filled with your operating point. It is a shortlist, not a substitute for an engineering review — but it is a shortlist built on real numbers.
