A drying tunnel dries product — bottles, containers, printed sheet, food, components — by moving a lot of warm air over it as it passes through, plus a blow-off zone that strips surface water before drying. The bulk air-circulation duty is high volume at modest pressure, which is centrifugal-blower territory: a CX blower moves the tunnel's air on a broad, stable curve. The blow-off zone, where air knives strip water at the entry, is a moderate-pressure ring-blower duty. Splitting the two — a centrifugal for circulation, a ring blower for the knives — dries faster and uses less energy than trying to force one machine to do both, and both run oil-free so nothing contaminates the product.
