Accelerated, steady centrifugal air effectively shortens that cooling and holds the cable's concentricity as it sets. A drifting blower lengthens the effective cooling and risks concentricity; a balanced CX machine keeps airflow constant across the long section, which is why it is the recommended cooling class for heavy cable.

Holding a power cable concentric is a combined job: steady cooling air sets the geometry as it cools, and calibration vacuum seats the dimensions. Neither alone is enough.
