Vacuum Pump for Labelling Machine

Labelling Machine duty, sized right: vacuum on the label drum and belt to grip labels and containers. Real Yash models, oil-free where it matters, ISO 9001:2015 and built in Faridabad since 1998.

DTYGripping labels with vacuum

A labelling machine leans on vacuum to hold each label to the vacuum drum through the cut-and-apply cycle and, on many designs, to grip containers on a vacuum belt so they track true past the applicator. Both are low-flow, moderate-vacuum jobs with fast on/off cycling — the volume is small but the response has to be crisp. Because the labels and containers are the product, the air path must stay oil-free so nothing marks the stock. A compact dry vacuum pump is ideal; where the same machine also needs a puff of pressure to blow a label off the pad, a combined vacuum-and-pressure pump does both from one unit.

Yash YBDVP dry pumps and YBVP vacuum-and-pressure pumps are built for exactly this clean, low-flow, oil-free label duty. Quiet, compact, ISO 9001:2015 and made in Faridabad — sized to the number of drums and belt drops on your line and quoted in 24 hours.

SZESizing note

Add up the suction ports on the drum and belt at your line speed; the vacuum only needs to be deep enough to hold the label flat without curl. A small reservoir steadies the vacuum through rapid apply cycles.

Indicative only — final selection depends on your exact duty point, altitude and air temperature. Send the numbers and an engineer confirms the model.

FAQVacuum Pump for Labelling Machine — FAQs

What vacuum pump suits a self-adhesive labelling machine?
A small oil-free dry pump (YBDVP 10–40) covers most labellers — the flow is low and you only need enough vacuum to hold each label flat on the drum without curl. If the applicator also blows the label off a pad, a combined YBVP vacuum-and-pressure pump gives you both from a single quiet unit.
Why does labelling need an oil-free pump?
The labels and containers are the finished product, so any oil mist in the vacuum path risks marking them. A dry pump keeps the whole path oil-free, protects print and adhesive, and has nothing to service beyond the intake filter — ideal for clean, fast labelling lines.
