DTYVacuum around the bottle filler

A bottle filling machine uses vacuum to grip and steady bottles through star-wheels and neck-handling, and — on vacuum fillers — to draw product to a set level in the bottle. Container handling is a clean, oil-free, low-to-moderate flow duty; the fill itself needs a controllable vacuum and often the tolerance to pull a little vapour or foam from the headspace. For water, juice and food the path stays oil-free, so a dry pump is the natural pick for handling, while a liquid-ring pump earns its place on the fill where moisture carryover is routine. Keeping the handling vacuum stable is what stops bottles slipping and jamming at speed.

Yash pairs YBDVP dry pumps for clean bottle handling with YELV liquid-ring pumps for wet vacuum filling, so a single supplier covers the whole filler. ISO 9001:2015, continuous beverage-line duty, built in Faridabad with the separators and filtration the service needs. Sized on bottles-per-minute, quoted in 24 hours.

SZESizing note

Split it: size the handling vacuum on the number of grip points at line speed, and the fill vacuum on fill rate and headspace vapour. A separator protects the pump on foamy or carbonated products.

Indicative only — final selection depends on your exact duty point, altitude and air temperature. Send the numbers and an engineer confirms the model.

FAQVacuum Pump for Bottle Filling Machine — FAQs

What vacuum pump does a bottle filling line use?
Most lines use two duties from one supplier: a dry oil-free pump (YBDVP) for clean bottle grip and neck handling, and a liquid-ring pump (YELV) for vacuum filling where headspace vapour and foam are pulled off. Sizing follows bottles-per-minute for handling and fill rate for the fill.
Do carbonated or foamy products need a special pump?
They need a vapour separator ahead of the vacuum pump to catch foam and carryover, and a liquid-ring pump copes best with the moisture. That keeps the pumping chamber clean and the vacuum stable, so fill levels stay consistent even on lively products.
