Finishing wet fabric at line speed takes large volumes of hot air spread evenly across a wide web, so the stenter and dryer blowers are sized on airflow and web width more than on pressure. Uneven air means uneven drying and finish. High-volume centrifugal blowers supply that broad, steady airflow; specifying the required volume across the web and choosing the CX class keeps the finish uniform edge to edge rather than streaked by hot and cool zones.

Vacuum takes the last water off

Before final drying, vacuum slots pull residual moisture from the cloth, cutting the heat load downstream and speeding the line.
